"summary": "Adom Online reports that former Vice-President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia's Adviser on Gender and Social Protection, Akosua Manu, has criticized state institutions for failing to adequately protect female students allegedly sexually abused by the headmaster of Obuasi Senior High Technical School. The allegations were brought to light by investigative journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni in his documentary, Inside the Dreaded Headmaster’s Bungalow. Manu highlighted the inadequacy of the response from the Ghana Education Service, Ministry of Education, and Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection, emphasizing that protective measures do not require a criminal conviction. She expressed concern over reports of individuals approaching families of complainants and stressed that the welfare of the affected students should remain the priority, regardless of political disagreements.",
