"account": "Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF George Akume, has declared Atiku Abubakar, the African Democratic Congress presidential contender, as an adversary of the Northern region. A spokesperson for Akume, Yomi Odunuga, announced this during a recent pre-campaign gathering with Benue State residents in Kaduna. Akume asserted that Atiku's ambitions are detrimental to the interests of the North. The former Benue State governor insisted that the North should not back Atiku's bid for presidency, as doing so would disrupt the rotational presidency and deprive the region of an opportunity to regain power. Akume contended that President Bola Tinubu should receive support to serve a full eight-year term, after which power would once again be returned to the North. Akume urged northern leaders to unite behind Tinubu and reject Atiku, who he claimed has no intentions of serving the region's best interests. This statement by Akume has sparked a range of reactions, with many perceiving it as a strategic maneuver to diminish Atiku's support among Northern voters. The declaration that \"2027: Atiku is North's enemy – SGF Akume drops bombshell\" has sent shockwaves throughout the region.",
