"account": "Ghana Tourism Authority CEO Maame Efua Houadjeto has addressed concerns raised by her deputy Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey Santana regarding access to her office for urgent consultations. In a letter to the Authority's Board Chairperson, Mrs Houadjeto defended her open-door policy, particularly for senior management officers, and questioned the assertion that her availability had been a problem. She outlined five strategies to enhance communication and coordination between her office, the Authority's executive team, and to address the communication gap highlighted by Mr Aggrey. These measures include regular scheduled consultations to discuss departmental priorities and operational challenges, a clear procedure for flagging urgent matters, and improved acknowledgment and scheduling of meeting requests. Mrs Houadjeto emphasized that the aim of these measures was to enhance overall management processes and strengthen the Authority's responsiveness and coordination. She expressed confidence in maintaining a harmonious working relationship with her deputy, despite potential scheduling conflicts, and proposed a meeting to discuss the implementation of the proposed measures.",
