"account": "Indonesia’s recent cut in gas exports to Singapore amounts to less than 2% of the Southeast Asian nation's daily gas consumption, according to the country's Energy Market Authority (EMA). The authority noted that the reduction of 31 million standard cubic feet of gas daily equates to 17 British thermal units per day (bbtud) over an 18-day period, which is significantly lower than Singapore's average daily gas demand of over 1,000 bbtud. EMA spokespersons indicated that importers will seek appropriate recourse within their contract terms for the supply disruption. The authority also stressed that it has contingency plans in place to address such reductions.",
