"account": "FIFA’s embattled president Gianni Infantino has stated that he has the support of the “vast, vast majority” of soccer ahead of the upcoming FIFA elections. Infantino, who is seeking re-election for a final term as the head of soccer’s world governing body, addressed doubts about his ability to continue in the role following his controversial plan to sell stakes in the World Cup. Speaking at the Under-15 World Cup in Azerbaijan, Infantino emphasized the importance of democracy and the democratic process in FIFA, stating that everyone should have an equal vote and voice. Despite his apology for \"mistakes\" in the investment plan, European delegates expressed disappointment in the lack of clarity during a recent meeting. The Asian Football Confederation recently endorsed Infantino for another term, marking a shift in their stance from previous criticism.",
