"summary": "APC chieftain Dr Musa Illiyasu Kwankwaso has declared that the North-West has chosen President Bola Tinubu for the 2027 presidential election, according to Punch Nigeria. Additionally, Banwo Mayowa, an APC chieftain and former member of the Obi-Datti Presidential Campaign Council, has called for Tinubu's re-election in 2027 to allow for the consolidation of economic reforms and infrastructure projects.\n\nSeparately, Daily Post Nigeria reports that Alhaji Bisi Olopoeyan, a chieftain of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), criticized APM presidential candidate Seyi Makinde for his behavior. Olopoeyan described Makinde as behaving like a child after the Oyo State governor jumped from a stage during a town hall meeting in Akure to urge Nigerians to vote for candidates with physical strength and energy. Olopoeyan questioned if jumping was a requirement for governance and noted that Tinubu is not the same age as Makinde.",
