"account": "West De Pere junior Garrett Abts significantly influenced a 31-21 WIAA Division 1 playoff victory over Kimberly on October 23. After trailing 21-14 in the third quarter, Abts intercepted a pass from Kimberly quarterback Maddux Hermus for a pick-six, tying the game. He then performed well in the final quarter, helping West De Pere score 17 unanswered points and secure a 28-21 victory. This pick-six was a game-defining moment, shifting momentum in West De Pere's favor. Coach Kegan Wirtz highlighted the importance of such plays, stating that they often change the course of a game. Despite facing a strong Kimberly team, West De Pere extended their winning streak to 24 games in the D1 playoffs.",
