Kim had pledged in January 2024 to bring glory to the club and win a title within three years.\n\nKim expressed his happiness at keeping his word to fans, stating that this was a significant milestone for him. He also hinted at future goals, including another K League 1 title or the Asian Football Confederation Champions League trophy. Despite facing criticism from his home stadium, Kim remains focused on achieving more. He is currently in discussions with the club's management about the direction of FC Seoul and whether to sign big-name stars or build a winning squad to attract fans.
