"account": "KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's pursuit of medals at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Para Games concluded on a low note on Saturday as the boccia mixed pair BC4 Hanafi Rosli and Noor Askuzaimey Mat Salim fell short of a bronze medal. The Malaysian duo lost 4-2 to Thailand's Phonsila Nuanchan and Larpyen Pornchok at the Nagoya City General Gymnasium. Earlier in the week, Noor Askuzaimey had claimed a bronze in the women's BC4 event, but she too missed out on another bronze in Nagoya. This defeat marked the end of Malaysia's medal aspirations, as no additional medals were added on the final day of competition. Despite this setback, Malaysia had achieved its six-gold target on Thursday. The Games concluded with Malaysia finishing 12th among 31 participating countries, having amassed six gold, eight silver, and 13 bronze medals. China dominated the medal table, with 207 gold, 117 silver, and 111 bronze medals, leaving a significant gap between themselves and the rest of the field. Host country Japan secured the second position with 64 gold, 60 silver, and 62 bronze medals, while Uzbekistan claimed the third spot with 45 gold, 49 silver, and 51 bronze medals.",
