"account": "Pakistan has vehemently denounced a \"heinous terrorist attack\" that took place at a funeral procession near a church in Jordan's Karak Governorate. In a statement, the Foreign Office reiterated the condemnation of terrorism in all its forms. On Friday, gunmen stormed the compound of a Greek Orthodox church in Hammoud village, killing at least seven people and injuring dozens in southern Jordan. The Foreign Office extended heartfelt condolences to the Jordanian government and people, particularly the bereaved families, and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured. The incident occurred when the assailants emerged from a vehicle and unleashed gunfire during the funeral procession. King Abdullah II of Jordan vowed a harsh response, stating that those who threatened his nation would face the \"hardest retaliation.\" The death toll initially numbered six, but was later revised to seven, with 34 injured, 27 of whom were still in treatment. Eyewitnesses reported that the gunmen fired continuously for five minutes before fleeing the scene.",
