"account": "A Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) officer, Muhammad Imran Norzehan, 28, has been sentenced to 16 weeks in jail and banned from driving for five years after causing a traffic accident. The incident occurred on Jan 23, 2025, on Sungei Kadut Street 1, when Imran fell asleep at the wheel of an SCDF Pump Ladder. The driver's vehicle veered into the opposite direction, colliding with a parked truck, which then struck a prime mover parked behind it. Three passengers in the SCDF vehicle, aged between 21 and 22, sustained serious injuries. Imran had expressed regret and was aware of the impact on his career, as well as the forgiveness of the injured men, who were national servicemen. The incident took place after the crew had returned from an incident and Imran had even washed his face, admitting to feeling tired before the crash.",
