"account": "LONDON, October 24 — Prince William, the heir to the British throne, made a rare appearance on a BBC chat show, where he candidly revealed his youthful interests. The Prince of Wales, appearing on the Graham Norton Show, expressed a desire to have been a policeman or a DJ instead of assuming his royal role. The episode, set to air that evening, promoted the Earthshot Prize, which recognizes environmental initiatives. Accompanied by actresses Cate Blanchett and Hannah Waddingham and conservationist Robert Irwin, William appeared on the show's sofa, sporting a blue suit, shirt, and tie. He was seen laughing in promotional images released beforehand. The Graham Norton Show, now in its 33rd series, is the BBC's most-watched chat program. The BBC reported a \"cheer and gasp\" from the audience upon William's surprise appearance. He will present the Earthshot Prize in Mumbai on November 17. Launched in 2020, the prize awards £1 million each to innovative environmental solutions. William revealed during the interview that he once had a passion for becoming a DJ, though he admitted he was not particularly skilled. He also discussed his family's fondness for the reality show The Celebrity Apprentice and his enjoyment of Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, labeling it \"psychologically dark and deep.\" William's comments come amid speculation about the return of his estranged brother, Prince Harry, who recently expressed a desire for reconciliation with their father, King Charles III, and William, his elder brother.",
