"account": "A total of 68 foreign nationals were detained in a raid on a recreational center in Kuala Lumpur's Ampang Road early this morning. The Immigration Department of Malaysia (JIM) carried out the operation, with Deputy Director Hamsha Injau reporting that the detainees consisted of 54 Thai nationals, including seven men and 47 women, and 14 Bangladeshi men aged between 20 and 55 years old. During the raid, immigration officers also searched for signs showing wages up to RM3,000, in addition to RM1,000, RM500, and the lowest RM100. The operation is being investigated for alleged violations such as misusing tourist visas and breaching work requirements, including working at the entertainment center with visas issued for other purposes. Deputy Director Hamsha stated that the consequences of these actions are being examined over the next two to three months through public complaints and inquiries from other agencies. The operation began around 12:30 PM last night involving 53 immigration officials and nine officials from the Ministry of Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDN). A total of 113 individuals were inspected, and five complaint forms were issued to witnesses. All detainees were taken to the Bukit Jalil Immigration Detention Center for further investigation, and actions will be taken in accordance with Section 39(b) of the Immigration Regulations 1963.",
