"account": "A Dalit student from Tamil Nadu committed suicide after allegedly being harassed by his classmates and teacher over his caste and consumption of beef, according to police in Coimbatore district. The victim's parents filed a complaint alleging that he was targeted by the class teacher and two classmates for his Scheduled Caste status and his intake of beef. The teacher reportedly questioned students from the Scheduled Caste community about their consumption of beef, leading the victim to admit to eating beef. This confession reportedly triggered further harassment from his classmates. The victim's body was discovered at his residence on October 21. Police have booked the school principal, the teacher, and two students for abetting suicide under Section 108 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023. The principal and the teacher have been suspended pending the investigation. The incident has sparked outrage among the ruling party and its allies, who demand justice and swift action from the authorities.",
