"account": "On Friday night, Jacob Misiorowski of the Milwaukee Brewers pitched the fastest World Series fastball, according to Statcast data. His initial offering to Tampa Bay Rays' Yandy Diaz reached a blistering 103.5 mph, surpassing the 103.2 mph mark set by Aroldis Chapman of the Chicago Cubs in the 2016 Series. Misiorowski, a 24-year-old right-hander, had consistently dominated with his heat this year, throwing 1,115 pitches above 100 mph and setting the postseason record with 673 such pitches. His fastest pitch of the season was just 0.3 mph shy of Chapman's regular-season record. Misiorowski's first nine pitches to the Rays were fastballs, with two singles, and he maintained an impressive average of 101.9 mph on the first 10 pitches.",
