"account": "Billboard Canada has announced the recipients for the prestigious Women in Music Awards 2026, featuring renowned global artists Summer Walker and Bebe Rexha. Walker will receive the Global Visionary Award, while Bebe Rexha will be honored with the Global Hitmaker Award.\n\nSummer Walker's groundbreaking career has broken barriers in modern R&B, built on boundless creativity and radical vulnerability. Her trilogy, now complete, has been transformed into a successful arena tour, The Finally Still Over It tour, which sold out venues worldwide. The tour showcased her three albums, starting in Toronto and finishing with a sold-out show at London's O2 Arena.\n\nDuring the tour, Walker paid tribute to her dedicated team that aided her in achieving new heights within the industry. Bebe Rexha, on the other hand, will be recognized for her decade-long career and versatile chart-topping prowess across genres such as pop, electronic, country, and R&B. In 2026, Rexha took greater control of her career, going independent and partnering with EMPIRE, a decision she describes as both business and personal, embracing every aspect of herself.\n\nRexha's 2026 album, Dirty Blonde, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Dance Albums chart, reflecting her heightened creative ambition. She plans to create music videos for every song on the album, further showcasing her artistic growth.",
