"account": "Just hours after the iPhone Duo's release, hackers from team Calif managed to jailbreak the device on its launch day. The researchers showcased bouncing icons and widgets, alongside an anime character on the phone's screen. Last week, Calif unveiled a video demonstrating an untethered jailbreak on an iPhone 18 Pro running iOS 27.0.1. After rebooting, the device granted root access. However, Calif has not publicly released the jailbreak tool, stating only a proof of concept might be forthcoming. Security researcher Stefan Esser of Calif told German publication Heise that there won't be an end-user jailbreak tool, but a proof of concept might be released. Esser mentioned that the iOS 27.0.1 jailbreak exploited bugs Calif had either disclosed or planned to share with Apple soon. Most of the vulnerabilities are reportedly fixed in the upcoming iOS 27.2 update. Artificial intelligence was utilized in the jailbreak development process, though Esser did not elaborate on the specifics.",
