"account": "US envoy Tom Barrack suggested that the United States could launch military strikes against Iran this weekend, following threats from both Washington and Israel. In an interview, Barrack stated, \"Could there be a strike this weekend? Absolutely.\" However, he emphasized that the U.S. was not seeking to overthrow the Islamic republic, which has been a sworn enemy of the United States and Israel since the 1979 revolution. The ambassador also noted that President Donald Trump has expressed openness to resuming strikes after a lengthy diplomatic deadlock. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, facing elections on Tuesday, has repeatedly vowed to topple Iran, following two major bombing campaigns against the country since last year. Barrack reiterated that the U.S. was not interested in regime change and highlighted the potential consequences of continued threats against allies and the Gulf region.",
