"account": "Six people were killed and 28 injured in a shooting at a funeral in Jordan, according to a government spokesperson. The attack, described as \"heinous\" by the officials, occurred in the Karak governorate on Friday. The unidentified gunmen arrived in a vehicle and began firing inside the church before fleeing the scene. Security forces have been deployed to the area following the incident. Among the mourners present at the church were dozens of people, one of whom, Khaled Burqan, recounted the horrific attack to Jordan’s state-run TV. Burqan described the attackers as armed with a rifle and a pistol, firing at mourners for several minutes. Footage from the aftermath appears to show several dead and wounded bodies scattered on the ground amidst chaos. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack. Interior ministry officials are expected to provide more details in a forthcoming briefing. Karak, a city with a significant Christian population in the predominantly Muslim Jordan, is not immune to such violence, although deadly attacks are relatively rare in the country.",
