"account": "In Umuahia, the Association of Christian Traditional Rulers of Nigeria met on Friday to urge Nigerians to exercise their right to vote for the candidates of their choice during the 2027 general elections. The monarchs emphasized the importance of accepting the eventual winners, as they believe this is crucial for maintaining peace and security across the country.\n\nEze Oliver Ohanwe, the Chairman of the Board of the Christian Traditional Rulers of Nigeria, addressed the press after the meeting. He stressed that voters should cast their ballots for individuals with solid records and achievements, rather than making decisions based on sentiment or political party affiliations. Ohanwe and his fellow traditional rulers are advocating for a peaceful and prosperous Nigeria, and they believe that the election process should reflect this vision.\n\nThe traditional rulers further urged voters to support the eventual winners of the elections in their respective states, rather than engaging in acts of violence. Eze Nnamdi Ofoegbu, the host of the meeting and one of the monarchs present, mentioned that their group had organized prayers in 2025, which contributed to the relative peace experienced in parts of the South-East region. Ofoegbu expressed hope that prayers for life and security would continue to be answered, and that the best candidates would emerge from the electoral process.",
