"account": "Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu published a concise national security doctrine, aimed at strengthening Israel's capabilities and technological superiority. This document, drafted under his guidance, sparked criticism from his opponents ahead of an election. It outlines the need for increased defense R&D expenditure to reduce dependence on external sources and develop Israel's own forces through research and domestic production. Key areas of focus include quantum technology, artificial intelligence, and space. The document emphasizes the importance of sustaining investment in defense and civilian R&D, as it has historically been the driving force behind Israel's technological edge and military success. The R&D budget contributes significantly to the defense industry's growth, generating substantial returns on investment. As global demand for Israeli military technologies surges and competition intensifies, the committee recommends further increases in the central R&D budget for MAFAT and specific large projects.",
"summary": "Israel's national security depends on more than military strength. Investment in AI, robotics, space, and advanced defense technologies is essential to staying ahead of our enemies.",
