"summary": "US First Lady Melania Trump has announced she secured a localized ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine in the city of Oleshky, according to reports from Punch, the Jerusalem Post, and RTE News. The White House stated the truce will begin on October 29 and is intended to allow humanitarian aid to enter the area and to prepare for civilian evacuations through a designated safe passageway.\n\nThe Jerusalem Post reports that Oleshky is located on the front line of the war and currently houses between 1,700 and 2,000 residents, the majority of whom are elderly, along with approximately 50 children. The city's pre-war population was 24,000, and roughly 90 percent of the area was flooded following the destruction of the Kakhovka Dam.\n\nWhile the White House indicated that both nations assigned teams to coordinate mechanics such as demining, BBC News reports that Ukraine and Russia have not confirmed the truce in the Russian-occupied city.",
