"summary": "Hosts of \"The View,\" including Whoopi Goldberg and Sara Haines, criticized Megyn Kelly for her comments regarding actress Christina Applegate. Kelly reacted to Applegate’s revelation of being misdiagnosed with MS on her talk show by alleging the actress was seeking attention and deriding celebrities for wanting to be the face of the disease.\n\nAna Navarro defended Applegate on the \"Behind the Table\" podcast, calling Kelly \"pond scum\" and suggesting she attacks others to maintain relevance. Navarro stated that Kelly's criticism was an act of extreme cruelty toward the \"Dead to Me\" actress, who she noted has been going through hell with terrible physical symptoms and has used her experience to bring awareness to her illness.",
