"account": "On the day of the iPhone Duo launch, Apple Stores worldwide witnessed long lines of eager customers. Apple released a press statement this morning, featuring images from the global launch. 9to5Mac followers also shared pictures of their local Apple Stores. On Friday, October 23, the eagerly awaited iPhone Duo debuted at Apple Stores around the world. Retail employees invited customers to test out the innovative foldable iPhone, providing personalized shopping assistance. Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of worldwide marketing, celebrated the launch at the company’s flagship Fifth Avenue store in New York alongside retail executive Vanessa Trigub. Apple CEO John Ternus joined the festivities at Apple’s Domain NORTH SIDE location in Austin, Texas, alongside retail chief Deirdre O’Brien. Mark Gurman shared that Ternus visited Apple’s Austin offices this week. The Formula 1 United States Grand Prix is currently underway in Austin, and Apple holds the exclusive streaming rights in the United States. Lines formed at Apple Stores overnight, with hopeful shoppers aiming to purchase an iPhone Duo in-store. Apple had warned that retail stores would have \"limited\" inventory, and it seems that the situation is similar. Store staff are advising frustrated customers to check the Apple Store app tomorrow at 10 a.m. ET for up-to-date information on in-store inventory.",
