"account": "Jude Bellingham, the 23-year-old England midfielder, is reportedly close to signing a new contract with Real Madrid that could extend his stay at the club until 2031. The Spanish club reportedly offered the midfielder, who joined Real Madrid in 2023 for €103 million (£88.5 million), a lucrative deal to keep him at the Santiago Bernabeu for the long term. Despite declining goal-scoring numbers in recent seasons, Bellingham has demonstrated his importance to Real Madrid through his creativity, work rate, and tactical versatility. In the 2026-27 campaign, he has made a promising start under Jose Mourinho, recording three goals and three assists in nine games. An improved contract would reflect the club's desire to retain one of Europe's most highly rated midfielders for their future domestic and European ambitions.",
