"account": "Vinland Saga creator Makoto Yukimura has provided a disheartening update on the production of the anime's third season. In response to a fan's inquiry on X, Yukimura stated that the third season is not currently in progress. Neither Kodansha, the manga publisher, nor MAPPA, the anime producers, have released any official announcements regarding a third season. The story, set in 11th Century AD Iceland and England, follows protagonist Thorfinn's journey from a vengeful warrior to a pacifist, all while grappling with the brutal realities of Viking life. Despite its critically acclaimed depiction of war and its impact on individuals, the future of Thorfinn's story remains uncertain.",
