"account": "The starting price for the iPhone Duo in South Africa is an astonishing R47,999, leading to contract packages that are equally alarming. The cheapest option is R1,699 per month for 36 months on Telkom's FlexOn6 package, resulting in a total payment of R61,164. However, Telkom controls the four cheapest contracts before MTN joins with a lower-tier offer at R1,849 per month for 36 months. The best deal among these initial options is Telkom's fourth package, costing R1,839 per month for the 512GB version, totaling R66,204 over three years. MTN follows at R1,849 per month for the 256GB model, bringing the total commitment to R66,564. Vodacom enters at R1,999 per month for the 256GB model, totaling R71,964. Cell C matches this, offering the same R1,999 monthly rate for the 256GB iPhone Duo. Despite foldables being a niche market, competitors like Samsung's Fold lineup and Huawei's Mate X7 offer greater value for money. The iPhone Duo's premium cost is primarily due to its novelty as Apple's first foldable device. However, purchasing it outright may offer significant savings.",
