"account": "On Thursday evening, a tragic incident unfolded in Chandigarh's Sector 22, where a Class XI student named Naitik lost his life after being shot by motorcycle-borne assailants. The attack occurred near the Sanatan Dharam Mandir in Sector 22. Naitik, a student at SD School, was returning home in an auto when he and his friend were shot. Tragically, Naitik was declared dead at a hospital. The auto driver sustained injuries from the gunfire, while the other youth accompanying Naitik managed to escape unharmed.\n\nThe Unified Territory Police (UT Police) has detained a suspect in connection with the case and is currently investigating the circumstances that led to the shooting. Preliminary information suggests that the attacker was someone the victim knew from their school days, and authorities are examining whether the incident was the result of an old personal dispute.\n\nThe SHO, Sudesh Kumar, revealed that initial probing indicated that Naitik had a fight with a group of youths earlier in the day, in Sector 44. The dispute, reportedly over an old issue, appears to have been verified. The youths allegedly followed Naitik and his friend in a motorcycle and opened fire upon them in Sector 22. The victim was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The auto-rickshaw driver was injured, while the other youth who was with Naitik managed to escape unharmed.\n\nPolice have initiated an investigation into the incident and are reviewing CCTV footage from the area. The victim's father works in the timber market. Further investigation is underway.",
