"account": "In a surprising move, Malaysian consumers are flocking to buy the new Apple iPhone Duo, much like hunters after a successful hunt. For those unfamiliar with the device, let’s break down the key points. Apple, instead of unveiling all its iPhone models simultaneously, this year released only the iPhone 18 Pro line and the foldable iPhone Duo, with the latter going on sale today worldwide, including Malaysia.\n\nThe iPhone Duo is not just two iPhones glued together. It features a proper hinge that folds a single display down the center, accompanied by a custom matte screen that minimizes the crease, making it nearly invisible in certain contexts. The matte finish is also replaceable, should it wear down over time. In the hand, the device feels smaller when folded, reminiscent of a passport or a pocket notebook, but opens up to a tablet-like screen, nearly invisible crease, and is slightly heavier than the iPhone 18 Pro Max.\n\nWhile many apps aren’t yet optimized for the iPhone Duo, the hinge is solid, and the crease is not distracting. Developers are still catching up with the new form factor, similar to when the iPhone X launched. Despite the initial hiccups, the device’s growing popularity could incentivize developers to optimize their apps for the Duo.\n\nOne surprising aspect is the sound quality of the speakers, which is impressive. However, the device is still difficult to master, even after just one day. Turning it on and getting used to TouchID, after years of using FaceID, can be a bit confusing. The camera quality is nothing to scoff at, but if you rely heavily on the telephoto function, the max 2x may not be enough for your needs.\n\nDespite the learning curve, the iPhone Duo offers a unique combination of a phone and tablet, albeit at a higher cost than buying the devices separately. If you're considering purchasing one, head to your nearest Apple retailer and get a feel for the device. Stay tuned for a follow-up in a week to see if the reviewer still likes the iPhone Duo.",
