"account": "Christopher Vivell's true sentiments have come to light as Sir Jim Ratcliffe takes sides in Manchester United's internal strife. Recent events at the club have led to a breakdown in relationships between key personnel, with senior players and staff members expressing their discontent. Lisandro Martinez's tirade against Jason Wilcox and Bruno Fernandes' criticism of Michael Carrick have only added fuel to the fire.\n\nVivell, the club's director of recruitment, has felt himself being sidelined in recent months. The Sun reports that INEOS chairman Sir Jim Ratcliffe has taken a stance in favor of Wilcox, disappointing Vivell. As a German national, Vivell feels marginalized at Old Trafford and has been appearing less frequently at matches.\n\nVivell and Wilcox have contrasting views on recruitment. Vivell has been pushing for Julian Nagelsmann, while Wilcox prefers a Premier League–proven candidate. While Vivell's signings, such as Benjamin Sesko last season, demonstrate that bringing in talent from outside the English top flight can be successful, Sir Jim seems to trust Wilcox's judgment more.\n\nVivell's reduced prominence at matches and his growing dissatisfaction with the club's management have led to speculation about his potential departure. Whether this will come to pass remains to be seen. However, it is clear that Wilcox has struggled in his role since INEOS took control and deserves equal criticism alongside head coach Michael Carrick.",
