"account": "In January 2028, the United States will host the inaugural Women's Club World Cup, as confirmed by FIFA. Arsenal has been selected to participate in the seven-team tournament, with twelve more clubs yet to be announced. The 19-team event, designed to mirror the revamped men's Club World Cup and occurring every four years, is planned to take place from January 5 to 30, 2028. The United States previously hosted the men's Club World Cup in 2025 and co-hosted the men's World Cup this summer, alongside Mexico and Canada. FIFA's chief women's football officer, Sarai Bareman, highlighted the country's recent success in staging major FIFA tournaments, coupled with women's football's growing popularity and robust sporting infrastructure, as the key factors in choosing the US as the ideal host. Arsenal, Barcelona, Gotham, Club America, Corinthians, Naegohyang, and Wuhan Jiangda have already secured their spots at the tournament, with UEFA selecting six additional European clubs, while AFC, CAF, CONCACAF, CONMEBOL, and OFC will each send three clubs, including one from OFC. Bareman emphasized that these seven initial clubs, along with the additional twelve, would exhibit the strength and depth of women's club football to a worldwide audience. They would have the chance to share their stories, grow their fanbase, and represent their clubs on the global stage, having earned this momentous opportunity. In recent years, FIFA has introduced two mid-season women's competitions, the most recent being the Champions Cup, which was first held in February and was won by Arsenal.",
