"account": "Amer Ghalib, the first Arab-American mayor to endorse Donald Trump for the US presidency in 2024, has now been appointed as his adviser on Arab-American affairs, according to his Facebook post. Currently a senior advisor for strategic partnerships at AmeriCorps, Ghalib took this position after being denied the role of US ambassador to Kuwait by Republican senators. His outspoken criticism of Israel on social media was a major obstacle to his Senate confirmation. Ghalib met with President Trump and discussed immigration issues and limiting hate speech, emphasizing that he would meet with the president and White House staff as needed to address their concerns.",
