"account": "The Boston Bruins have secured a contract extension for another young forward, Marat Khusnutdinov. The 24-year-old signed a three-year deal with an annual cap hit of $3.95 million on Wednesday. Khusnutdinov, acquired by Boston in a trade with the Wild in March 2025, was in the final year of his original contract. The forward has already made a significant impact, tallying two goals and three assists in the Bruins' first ten games of the season. In his first full season with the team during the 2025-26 campaign, Khusnutdinov registered 15 goals and 18 assists. He has proven to be a versatile player, utilized in various aspects of the game, including the penalty kill where he averages over two minutes of ice time this season. Khusnutdinov joins Fraser Minten, who signed a seven-year extension in September, as the second young forward to receive a contract extension from the Bruins this year.",
