"account": "The White House is not likely to postpone its daily press briefing in the near future, according to the communications director, Steven Cheung. He stated that the briefing will come \"soon,\" but if it occurs before the midterm elections, a new press secretary may not be present at the podium. President Donald Trump has not rushed to appoint a replacement following the sudden departure of Katie Zacharia. One source familiar with the matter confirmed that a new appointee \"definitely will not\" be announced prior to the election. Trump, seeing himself as his own primary spokesperson, is traveling extensively to bolster Republican support. The White House continues to clash with the media, having threatened legal action against Politico for reporting on Chief of Staff Susie Wiles. Politico later corrected one article but maintained its stance on the rest of its coverage.",
