"account": "Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has called on members of the All Progressives Congress Campaign Council to ramp up grassroots outreach efforts in the lead-up to the 2027 general elections. During the inauguration of the Delta State APC Campaign Council in Asaba, Oborevwori introduced the theme \"MORE Plus\" for his re-election campaign. He described membership of the council as an opportunity for service and urged members to unite, remain disciplined, and dedicate themselves to securing victory for President Bola Tinubu and other APC candidates.\n\nGovernor Oborevwori stressed the importance of direct voter engagement, suggesting that campaign organizers at the local government and ward levels should interact with voters through personal visits rather than solely relying on rallies and political meetings. He emphasized that the party should target various groups, including market women, youth, workers, farmers, and traders, while effectively communicating the achievements of APC-led administrations. Oborevwori encouraged the council to highlight the impact of government policies, such as infrastructure development, education, healthcare, workers' welfare, youth empowerment, and security, under the M.O.R.E Agenda.\n\nHe urged party members and politicians to maintain peace and avoid hate speech throughout the campaign. The National Executive Committee (NEC) approved a 90-day plan to reduce the cost of living, and the Governor's Chief of Staff, Deputy Governor Monday Onyeme, commended Oborevwori for aligning the state administration with the Federal Government's policies. Former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, representing Delta North, highlighted the state's mass defection from the PDP to the APC and urged the campaign council to reach voters directly. The campaign council, chaired by Oborevwori, includes Senator James Manager as Director-General and Chiedu Ebie as Deputy Director-General.",
