"account": "The Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) expressed profound sorrow over the passing of Pa Reuben Famuyide Fasoranti, a distinguished elder statesman, nationalist, and the National Leader of Afenifere, a prominent Yoruba socio-cultural group. The news of his demise was conveyed by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State. In a statement released on Thursday, Prof. Muhammad-Baba, the National Publicity Secretary of ACF, recounted Pa Fasoranti's illustrious life and legacy.\n\nPa Fasoranti was revered as a trailblazing nationalist, politician, and community leader who wholeheartedly dedicated his life to advocating for progressive politics and good governance. He witnessed Nigeria's progress and lamented the nation's missed opportunities for greater achievements throughout his century-long tenure on earth. The ACF emphasized that he remained steadfast in his pursuit of excellence for his people and the nation as a whole.\n\nDespite his extensive journey, spanning from the independence struggles to the military rule era and subsequent democratic governance experiments, Pa Fasoranti remained an unwavering advocate for positive change in Nigeria. His life's work exemplified the qualities of a principled and forward-thinking leader, earning him a revered status within the Yoruba community and beyond.\n\nACF lauded the deceased for his exemplary service to Nigeria and his community, acknowledging that his passing marks a celebration of life rather than a loss. The ACF fervently prayed for eternal peace for Pa Fasoranti in the Almighty's presence.",
