"summary": "Rep. Ilhan Omar stated that a federal law enforcement raid on her Washington, D.C. home was an attempt to \"freak all of us out.\" According to KahawaTungu, agents began pounding on her doors around 06:00 EDT on October 12, startling Omar and her husband. Omar said she plans to move out of the residence because she no longer feels it is feasible to live there with her children due to death threats and the exposure of her address.\n\nThe search by Homeland Security Investigations agents is part of an ongoing federal criminal investigation. The Jerusalem Post reports the investigation involves allegations of immigration fraud regarding her family's immigration paperwork, and that grand jury subpoenas have been issued to some of her relatives. While the government has not specified what crime Omar is accused of, KahawaTungu reports that her personal computers and passport were among the items seized, alongside 17 items including cell phones and notebooks.\n\nOmar denied the allegations in an interview with MSN NOW, stating she is confident she did nothing wrong. She alleged the raid was politically motivated and intended to appease supporters of Donald Trump.",
