"account": "Damang Gold Mine Ltd, now under new management from Engineers and Planners, extracted an impressive 12.1 million tonnes of material between April and September 2026, according to Frank Dankyi Agyei, the mine's Manager of Mining. Fresh material from active mining operations comprised 60% of the feed to the processing plant, with stockpiled material making up the remaining 40%, Agyei explained.\n\nIn his interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosiisen programme on October 22, Agyei detailed the production figures: 647,821 tonnes by the end of April, 1.4 million tonnes in May, and 1.6 million tonnes in June. July saw production rise to two million tonnes, peaking at 3.45 million tonnes in August. September saw the mine extract three million tonnes, amounting to the total of 12,097,821 tonnes across the six-month period.\n\nAgyei emphasized the mine's commitment to increasing output, stating that it was not solely reliant on existing stockpiles to sustain operations. The production surge was fueled by the extraction of fresh material from active mining sites, which accounted for 60% of the plant's feed, while the remaining 40% was made up of material stockpiled from prior mining activities.",
