"account": "Vice President JD Vance led a rally in Nebraska on Thursday, addressing an audience for Republican Senator Pete Ricketts and Governor Jim Pillen, both running for reelection. The event in North Platte took an unexpected turn when a woman behind the vice president collapsed, appearing to pass out during the speech. Vance, acknowledging the situation, called upon the crowd to join him in a prayer, reciting the Lord's Prayer together. The woman's condition seemed to improve, and Vance proceeded to the crowd to check on her well-being, with others at the event assisting her. Nebraska has historically been a Republican stronghold, but the 2026 Senate race between Ricketts and Democrat Dan Osborn has become increasingly competitive, with recent polls shifting the outlook from \"Likely Republican\" to \"Leans Republican.\" High-ranking Republicans, including President Donald Trump, Senator John Thune, and RNC Chair Joe Gruters, have been making appearances in the state to secure Republican voter turnout ahead of the election. This is a breaking news story, with updates expected to follow.",
