"account": "Manchester City's manager Enzo Maresca is committed to helping Phil Foden regain his peak form. Foden has had a recent surge in performance, scoring four goals in his last two games following a domestic suspension. The 26-year-old's impressive displays, including a hat-trick against AEK Athens, have reignited speculation about his potential return to the England national team after being omitted from the World Cup squad. Maresca has been closely involved in Foden's well-being since his arrival at City this summer. He emphasized the importance of Foden to the team, stating, \"For different reasons, the last few years he was not good enough but I think when you have players like Phil available you are a better team because it’s a matter of improving players.\" Maresca is also dedicated to enhancing the impact of midfielder Rayan Cherki. The 23-year-old Frenchman has recently demonstrated his exceptional skills with goals against Liverpool and AEK Athens. However, Maresca believes Cherki's effectiveness could be further amplified if he could improve his positioning. He remarked, \"In this moment Rayan is one of the best players in Europe. When he is in the right position – that means when we are able to find him between the lines – he's always dangerous.\" Despite recognizing the need to balance Cherki's heightened awareness with preserving his instinctive flair, Maresca remains committed to supporting the player's natural tendencies. At a press conference previewing the upcoming match against Aston Villa, Maresca emphasized his philosophy: \"I am quite lucky that I have seen many things in 35 years in football. Rayan has many good things but it’s just a matter of balance. I like it when the players are happy, 100%, but I also like simple things, don’t complicate it.\" Maresca recognizes the significance of Cherki's love for the game and will strive to maintain this aspect while optimizing his positioning.",
