"summary": "The Houthis originated in northern Yemen during the 1990s and have evolved from mountain fighters into regional players capable of impacting global oil prices and shipping. As members of Iran’s Axis of Resistance, the group is hostile to the West and follows the slogan, \"Death to America, death to Israel,\" according to Al-Monitor. Political analyst Mubarak Al-Ati states that Houthi militants are establishing positions beneath civilian locations, such as mosques, schools, and hospitals.\n\nAs fighting intensifies between the Houthis and a Saudi-led coalition, Saudi state oil company Aramco has instructed staff to evacuate its Dhahran headquarters and work remotely, according to the Jerusalem Post. This follows a wave of Houthi attacks on Saudi airports and the company. Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree announced via a televised speech that the group launched attacks against the Saudi defense ministry in Riyadh and Aramco facilities in Yanbu.\n\nFollowing the news regarding Aramco, the kingdom's benchmark index dropped 2.5%, while oil prices reached their highest levels since May due to concerns regarding crude oil supplies and the escalating conflict.",
