"account": "Zeng Ze Qun, a 23-year-old undergraduate from the National University of Singapore, has been taken into custody following his arrest for filming his female flatmate while she was showering. As reported by Shin Min Daily News, Zeng and his housemate had been residing in a private apartment in western Singapore. In the early hours of August 18, around 9:25pm, Zeng consumed his dinner, then made his way to the bathroom. Placing an arm through a window, he activated his smartphone and began recording. The female resident awoke to the sound of the recording and shrieked, hastily dressing before leaving the bathroom. Alarmed by her scream, Zeng ceased filming and made his escape to a nearby shopping center. He swiftly erased the footage before returning home, where he was apprehended by law enforcement. According to official documents, Zeng had captured the woman on camera ten times between June 20 and August 18, including while she was in the shower and fully undressed. The court has imposed a press gag order prohibiting the public identification of the victim. During his testimony, Zeng admitted that his motive was derived from excitement and that he employed this method as a coping mechanism for academic stress and anxiety. He claimed to have deleted the videos after a week, but the police were unable to retrieve them from his phone. The prosecution has requested a prison term of at least six and a half months for Zeng. Zeng's defense attorney argued that, as he is in his final semester for his Master of Science degree at NUS, Zeng should be granted an extension to complete his studies before sentencing. Zeng pleaded guilty on October 20 and is scheduled to be sentenced on December 16.",
