"account": "Malaysian politician Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman has responded to accusations from former Indonesian trade minister Muhammad Lutfi that he called for ASEAN to treat Indonesia as an \"outcast\" over the recurring transboundary haze. Lutfi criticized Syed's call for stronger regional action against Indonesia, stating that haze is not a platform for \"cheap political theatre.\" In response, Syed posted a video on October 21, asserting that companies proven to have started forest fires should face consequences, regardless of their nationality. He emphasized that he would not shield polluters, including those from his own country.",
