"summary": "Eduwatch, an education policy advocacy organization, has called for a nationwide audit of teacher-student sexual misconduct and safeguarding systems in all secondary schools following a recent investigation into alleged abuse at Obuasi Senior High Technical School (SHTS). The organization's Executive Director, Kofi Asare, emphasized the need for an independent investigation into the allegations involving at least 16 female students and the school's Headmaster, Zakaria Abdulai. Eduwatch has also commended investigative journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni and the Ghana News Agency for bringing these allegations to public attention, stressing that the revelations raise serious questions about the effectiveness of existing safeguarding, reporting, and accountability mechanisms.",
