"account": "A new prize for AI-written books has launched in France, amid controversy over its use in literary competitions. The Prix Pascal de Littérature IA, named after mathematician Blaise Pascal, encourages the collaboration between human authors and AI. Entrants submit a manuscript and details of the algorithmic assistance used. The prize is open to any French-speaking author and does not require a publisher. Organizers emphasize transparency and collective intelligence over moral judgment.",
"summary": "A new literary award has just been launched and aims to recognise work written in collaboration with AI. Its timing is problematic, to say the least.",
