"summary": "President William Ruto is scheduled to embark on a nationwide development tour to Ukambani on October 24, 2026, showcasing completed projects, inspecting ongoing works, and launching new initiatives in Makueni, Machakos, and Kitui counties. Kibwezi West MP Mwengi Mutuse, a close ally of the President, confirmed the visit, urging residents and leaders to welcome him, emphasizing that Ruto is a leader for all Kenyans regardless of their affiliations. The tour follows Ruto's recent North Rift development tour and aims to present the administration's development record across regional and political divides.",
