"account": "Apple announced on Wednesday that its new folding iPhone Duo will be available for walk-in customers at select Apple Stores on Friday, following a swift sell-out of online orders that extended delivery times for some buyers to January. The company had unveiled its first folding phone in September, a product analysts had anticipated would soon lead in the niche market dominated by rivals like Samsung Electronics and Huawei Technologies. However, the iPhone Duo presents a more intricate challenge for Apple, given its sophisticated hinge mechanism that could take time to produce in large quantities. Apple Stores across multiple countries, including the United States, Australia, Canada, Mexico, and a significant portion of the UK and Europe, will host limited quantities of the iPhone Duo, allowing walk-in customers to experience the device. The availability of these units will differ by region, with other countries like mainland China, France, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and the UAE reserving iPhone Duo shipments for customers who previously placed online orders. In Macau, a Macau Special Administrative Region of China, walk-in purchases will be the sole method of acquiring the iPhone Duo, with a restricted supply.",
