"account": "Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes harshly criticized head coach Michael Carrick following the team's devastating 4-1 Champions League loss against Como. Carrick's future at the club was called into question after the match, which marked one of the most humiliating nights in United's European history. Following the defeat, Fernandes spoke to TNT Sports, stating, \"It’s a decision from the staff to not press man to man and sometimes leave space behind and try to get the ball, but sometimes when you give too much of the ball to these teams they get confidence.\" When asked directly if Carrick made any tactical errors, Fernandes replied, \"That’s on the manager and staff to see it, not me. Sometimes you have to be more brave under pressure, take the risk of pressing high and making them uncomfortable.\" In his post-match press conference, Carrick offered a brief response, acknowledging his responsibility for not providing enough challenge and avoiding questions about his future. He expressed his regret for the unacceptable performance and his desire to apologize to the 700 fans who traveled to support the team. United currently sits 13th in the Premier League, three points clear of the relegation zone, but the recent string of losses has raised concerns about Carrick's managerial abilities.",
