"account": "The Los Angeles Dodgers have dismissed the possibility of off-season surgery for star player Shohei Ohtani, following his injury-riddled season. Ohtani's subpar performance is believed to have contributed to the team's disappointing playoff run, which concluded with a 4-0 series loss to the Milwaukee Brewers. The 32-year-old Japanese superstar had been plagued by knee and biceps issues since July, raising questions about the impact of his demanding workload. Dodgers President of Baseball Operations Andrew Friedman affirmed that surgery was not an option, describing Ohtani's injuries as a \"game of whack-a-mole\" with his knee and bicep troubles alternating. Despite the setbacks, the Dodgers remain committed to having Ohtani pitch in the upcoming season, aiming to develop a plan that ensures the star player is at his best heading into October.",
