"account": "Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi stated on Wednesday that Egypt's proposed military support for Saudi Arabia is aimed at defending Saudi territory, rather than attacking Yemen. Speaking at a government event, Sisi emphasized the need to prevent instability in other countries and restore stability in nations that have lost it. He had previously requested the Egyptian parliament's authorization to support Saudi Arabia in its war against the Houthis, if requested. Sisi's speech came after a high-level Egyptian delegation visited Riyadh to deliver a letter from him to Saudi Arabia's de facto ruler, Mohammed bin Salman. The Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia have escalated recently, leading Riyadh to close its main airport and postpone a major investment conference. In response, Saudi Arabia has received support from allies, including French President Emmanuel Macron and the UK government. However, Egypt's foreign minister cautioned that involving Egypt in the conflict could make the situation more complex, as its foreign policy prioritizes national security and strategic balance.",
